My average Saturday night just turned into an exciting one when it popped up with an email from Kellie Carter Photography! It contained the below picture collage from Ashley & Roy’s wedding. It was less than 2 months ago, but seems like an eternity. Their wedding was an amazing way to close out 2011! Ashley & Roy had a stellar line up of vendors and they were pretty awesome themselves.
Typically I make it through the ceremony without tears, occasionally shed one or two during the first dance, but I was finishing setup in the sanctuary the first time Ashley’s Dad saw her prior to pictures, not going to lie, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. And, then her younger brother came in, yeahp, may have shed a tear then too!
For favors Ashley & Roy did a caramel apple bar. It was a genius idea for their fall wedding! Guests got to dip their caramel apples in sprinkles, chocolate chips or nuts. It was a hit at the reception! Ashley & Roy were an absolute perfect couple to work with and I wish them many blessings!

I’ve spent the last 20 minutes or so researching groomsmen attire for a June couple and I ran across this image and just loved it for a lot of reasons. Being from Kentucky and seeing so many outdoor, vintage, farm weddings I think it just fits many grooms and groomsmen around here. It makes them feel comfortable and “right at home”. Most guys will already have a nice pair of khakis, but I would definitely recommend picking out their shirts for them to make sure they all get the same pattern. Perhaps like in the picture the groom could wear a jacket for the ceremony and some pictures. You could even add a single color tie to the outfit and still keep it simple! And, lastly the belt buckle could be each of their gifts from the groom! Ah, the possibilities.

Saturday’s wedding could not have gone more perfectly! Huge thanks to Kellie Carter for the almost instant sneak peek! Can’t wait to share more pictures and details from this wedding! A text from the Bride on her way to her honeymoon read “I can’t tell you how much I appreciate all you did today!! Everything was amazing! Definitely would not have been able to pull off all of that without you. I had a great day thanks to you and your team!” eeek!!
