Q: When is it acceptable to take photographs at the wedding?
A: You may take picture before and after the
ceremony. There is a reason why the bride & groom have hired
a professional. A non-professional camera can affect the
whole ambience of the ceremony and distract the couple and
their guests. If you really want to re-live the ceremony,
wait for the newlyweds to post their own photos online and
save your camera for the reception!
Q: Do I really have to RSVP?
A: YES, this is your most important reasonability as
a guest. RSVP (respondez s’il vous plait) French for Respond
Please! Please do not make your bride or her wedding planner
have to track you down. You want to have a meal and a seat
at the reception don’t you?
Q: Do you send an invitation to your Officiant?
A: Yes, your officiant and his or her spouse should
be invited to your rehearsal dinner and your wedding
reception. Many times they will elect not to partake in the
celebration, but inviting them is the respectful and
considerate thing to do. |
